Tired Of Feeling Stuck?

Hi all, coach Amy here

Today on my blog I wanted to highlight a few things that may be keeping some of us stuck. Many times in our lives we set goals for ourselves feeling all excited but somewhere along the way we get stuck and can’t seem breakthrough to actually accomplish these goals and I know it can be troubling for many of us. Below I have listed with explanation things that’s keeping us stuck, these may vary from person to person but nevertheless all are helpful. Happy reading

Negative Self-talk – when you focus on negative thoughts it will lead to a decrease in motivation, lower self-confidence as well as feelings of hopelessness. When negative self-talk get out of hand it can lead to depression and anxiety. You need to silence your inner critic, a certain amount of self-criticism is ok it can have some positive effects but when its constantly playing out in your head it can lead to so many issues. Silence your inner critic.

Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result – If you have noticed that a particular plan you have tried in the past hasn’t work, its time to try a new plan. You won’t get anywhere trying the same thing thing twice when it didn’t even work to begin with. Trying to accomplish a goal with a tried and failed plan, and it didn’t work? Don’t change the goal just change your plan. There are various ways someone can achieve their goal just keep trying until you get a plan that works.

People in your circle – People we choose to surround ourselves with impacts how we think act and feel on a daily basis. So you’re surrounding yourself with people who are negative and not inspirational can actually keep you back from achieving you dreams and goals. Surrounding yourself with the right type of people can help success come more naturally to you than being around those who might hold you back.

Fear – Fear can paralyze our lives. When we worry about failing we don’t try, because of our internal fear. But then not trying only makes us lose the opportunity to be successful. Fear stops us from moving forward toward our goals, and reaps havoc on our quality of life. You must conquer your fear to push through and achieve your goals.

Thinking that things “should” be easier – Thinking like this is never helpful, because life is difficult, and everything we try to accomplish never comes easy only through hard work and determination to push through obstacles. Never give up on your dreams.

Quitting before you start – Ever heard the saying “better to have failed than failed to try”? Because if you never tried in the first place how would you know what works and what doesn’t? At least if you tried and failed it now gives you a chance to change your approach or plan and therefore be successful in the future.Dust yourself off and try again but never give up.
